Pigmentation

Dr Garsing Wong & Wen-Pei (Margaret) Chen are proud to announce the arrival of the first Venus Viva machine in New Zealand!

Dr Garsing Wong gives international talks and workshops to medical specialist on treating many aspects of aging and with the arrival of the Venus Concept technology into Auckland Cosmetic Medicine Clinic - Sapphire Appearance Medicine Clinic on the 22nd of January 2016, we will be able to treat more skin conditions related to aging.

Unwanted uneven pigmentation is a common complaint. Once a again, prevention cannot be overemphasised.  The best method to prevent unwanted pigmentation is to avoid the sun, and to use sun screen every day.  During your consultation, we will discuss  how to choose your sunscreen and how it should be used.

Studies have shown that dyschromias or uneven pigmentation in the skin is associated with an increased perception of age. By correcting dyschromias or pigmentation, you are not only getting healthier skin but also a younger looking skin.

Venus Viva operates with the revolutionary NanoFractional RF and SmartScan technology that allows heated zone density control and unique patter generation.

NanoFractional RF and SmartScan technology is delivered through 160 pines per tip with 62mj per pin, and a smaller footprint per pin (150x20 microns) resulting in minimal downtime due to micro wound formation.

State-of-the-art patented tip technology with 1000 pulses and a phenomenal depth of penetration (up to 500 microns), provides varying energy density enabling both ablation of the epidermis and coagulation of the dermis area resulting in skin resurfacing with minimal pain.

We often combine the treatments with the MP2 skin tightening, high dose Vitamin C infusions, and a selection of skin care.

The only way to know which treatment if any, is right for you is to come in and discuss your situation with our professional team.
