Microdermabrasion

Dr Garsing Wong, international speaker, former executive member of the New Zealand College of Appearance Medicine, former Chairman of the College of Urgent Care Physicians (formerly known as AMPA) together with Dr Wen-Pei (Margaret) Chen, at the Auckland Cosmetic Medicine Clinic Limited also known as Sapphire Appearance Medicine Clinic, are proud to offer the Silkpeel Microdermabrasion system with dermal infusion.

Microdermabrasion has been scientifically proven to improve the production of your own natural collagen, to reduce fine lines, improve texture and reduce pigmentation in your skin.

Unlike other systems that can sometimes leave your skin clogged with fine particles, the Silkpeel uses a diamond head that will gently exfoliate your skin whilst at the same time infuse various skin products to treat your skin.

For patients that require rehydration, we recommend that a Hyaluronic Acid solution be infused during the microdermabrasion to immediately rehydrate your skin.  You will notice that your skin will be revitalised after the treatment.  Exfoliation is the key secret to restoring your natural youthful skin by removing the top layer in a gentle, pain free and safe manner.

When lightening of the skin is desired, then the Silkpeel Microdermabrasion can be combined with a mild Kojic Acid solution.  The treatment can be used alone or combined with medication or our unique intravenous Vitamin C infusion regime.

The system is also good to assist with clearing your acne, by infusing solution that will assist to remove the comedomal plugs in your skin. This is an excellent way to start your acne treatment.  Acne treatment however requires a medical consultation with Dr Wong, as your treatment can be optimised with prescribed medication as well.

Most important with any skin care regime is to protect yourself from the harmful effects of Ultraviolet light, avoid smoking and sleeping enough.  We will also advise you on a suitable skin care regime to enhance your outcome.

After an initial free consultation with Margaret, please click this link to make a booking, to assess your skin and desired outcome, then a simple relaxing 20 minute treatment can be initiated.
