Juvederm® in lips give a soft natural looking results which will last for more than a year, although results can vary in some individuals depending on the placment and type of product used. Restylane® can also be used for lip enhancements.

What is a Lip Enhancement?

Lip enhancement and lip augmentation can be achieved with the use of injectable dermal fillers to treat the border of the upper and/or lower lip to enhance lip contour and definition. Lip volume can be improved by dermal filler treatment in the lip body to create more full lips.

Immediately after the lip enhancement, you may eat and kiss your your partner with out any fear of complications.

The newer hyaluronic acid fillers are mixed with local anaesthetic, giving you a far more comfortable procedure. For extra comfort, you may have the optional free of charge, addition of topical anaesthetic prior to the procedure.

You may drive immediately after the procedure, and most importantly, you will be able to kiss, eat and talk without any problems.

Immediately after, your lips do swell, so they look exaggerated however within a short space of time, usually within hours to a few days, the swelling settles down giving you a natural looking and soft result.

BOTOX® is a Prescription Medicine containing 100 units of botulinum toxin type A for injection. It is used for the treatment of frown lines. It should be administered only by trained medical professionals. Talk to your specialist about the benefits/risks of this procedure in appearance medicine.
Cautions: People with defective neuro-muscular transmission disorders, infection at site of injection, glaucoma, pregnancy and lactation.
Possible side effects include headaches, pain, burning or redness at injection site, local muscle weakness including drooping eyelids, lack of feeling and nausea. If you have any side effects or concerns speak to your doctor.
You will need to pay for this medicine. Normal doctors visits apply. Note: The treatment lasts about four months and after this time further courses of treatment may be necessary. Speak to your specialist about your own situation.
